my Red Sea DIY Aquarium Net Cover Kit for my home tank
Hi All, i have finally put together my Red Sea DIY Aquarium Net Cover Kit for my home tank.
I would like to share some of my experience on how to put it together, this is the first and only one Iâve put together, since it's a DIY kit, it does require a bit of DIY skill to design/measure/cut aluminium profile/install it together.
I have a Reefer XL425, and hereâs a list of things I prepare before I start the job:
- R42082 DIY Aquarium Net Cover Kit 120cm x 80cm
- R42085x2 Tank Net Screen cut outs 15/40mm
- Small handsaw I bought from $2 shop(could use a better one if possible)
- Sand paper
But no dealers on the west coast of Canada by the looks of it. My mate have an ArtfullyAcrylic lid for my 250 and he was thinking of going the same route for my 650 Peninsula but they're not cheap.
